OUR ALEXA-INSPIRED LOG TO REC709 CONVERSION
Natural Rec709 is our signature Alexa-inspired conversion LUT, designed to transform LOG footage into a natural, balanced Rec709 image while providing cinematographers and filmmakers with a professional starting point for more complex color grading.
Inspired by the color rendering of the ARRI Alexa, Natural Rec709 is designed around the qualities we value most in a digital image: natural skin tones, smooth highlight roll-off, clean shadows and balanced contrast.
Unlike a generic conversion LUT, Natural Rec709 is individually developed for the color science and LOG profile of each supported camera. Whether you're shooting Sony S-Log3, Blackmagic Film, Canon C-Log, Panasonic V-Log, DJI D-Log, Fujifilm F-Log or another supported format, you get a conversion specifically designed for your camera.
Natural Rec709 can be used as the starting point for a full color grade, for fast-turnaround projects, or as an on-set monitoring LUT for a natural representation of your final image.
